Other tips include storing the tooth in saliva (like in your cheek), or milk. You should not wait over two hours to be seen by a dental professional. Dental trauma involving a loss or broken tooth is a dental emergency. 

BROKEN CUSP OF A MOLAR

Unless you’re in pain, a broken cusp of a molar is not a dental emergency. However, we understand these may cause sensitivity and discomfort and ultimately compromise your tooth. Please contact us and we will evaluate and treat you as soon as possible.
